I build the N800 version using Bora 3.1, and the N770 version using Gregale 2.2

It is unnecessary to place Application Manager into "Red Pill" mode. Click

Browse installable applications -> instantmessaging

and you will find all gaim packages there. Choose the ones you want, and install them.

Hi Nix,

The one in the repository doesn't appear to be ver 2.0 . Mine is a lower version... but is that the one you mean?

Hi, All.

I seem to have libice6 | xlibs > 4.1.0 and libsm6 | xlibs > 4.1.0 missing so I can't install Gaim 2.0. Help, please !

Re: Gaim 2.0!

Do you have the latest firmware ?

With the latest firmware, my N800 has

libice6-1:1.0.0-3
libsm6-2:1.0.0-3osso2

I don't understand ... I mean gaim-2.0.0-0nix23 ...

... and I'm not sure which repository you're referring to. Did you add the ones described at http://gaim.garage.maemo.org/ ?

OK, that's a crash. Does it happen every time ? Can you try the older version of Gaim, available from the repositories described at http://gaim.garage.maemo.org/ ?

Note: If you wanna try the Gaim repository containing the older version, you must first remove your current version of Gaim, then the Gaim repository you currently have in your Application catalogue. Then, you must add the older repository and install Gaim again.
