after pressing ok with same settings it looks like this!!(i think "canceled" comes after when i go to take a screen shot of xterminal.when smsfaker is closed)(i can't see what xterminal is showing without closing the smsfaker,it does not let me switch the window. even after pressing ctrl+backspace. because it (smsfaker)is a popup window which gone after clicking outside it.hope this can give some info)

all look O.K apart from the event shouldn't be -1 it should be something like 3482.
I'll look into it, thanks for letting me know of the problems you've been having with scm and fakesms as it really helps to get feedback...

When i set phonecalls and sms shortcut for a contact and place it some order in my desktop, after a rebbot it doesn't keep the place/position i defined earlier in the desktop, also, if i place shortcuts -let's say in the second desktop for eg- it resets its position and keep going back to the main desktop after a reboot, is this normal?

no they are just normal desktop shortcuts so should do anything abnormal, have you tried this with another shortcut lately?

Please confirm if you can increase the font of the text below the phone call icon. Or else can can you tell which icon is for whcih contact.

yep, i just added tv out control widget and hotspot shortcut today and after a reboot all my widgets and shortcuts kept their positions except the phonecall and sms shortcut :-s

well there's no position information held in the .desktop file created by scm or any .desktop file
anyone else having this problem????

I had the same as slipkornsaad, but with earlier versions. I stopped using it but I will generate some new ones. Interesting that he sees the same even with a later version. His description applies exactly to my experience.

I really cant see why gconf wouldn't hold the positions of specific shortcuts.
maybe nicolai will have some insight in to this....
It very hard to track down a specific problem like this as every n900 is different and normally has a whole set of different apps installed on it. if you have fam installed could you both make me a list of installed apps for me to have a look through

how do i delete icons
coz i maked some tests and now i cant delete them
