sakya : yes this is a problem , happened with me again .
tried changing top rec pos and happened again .
do we have to use killall qtlockscreen all the time after saving ?

Some answers
@Estel: the lockscreen should have no impact on battery life, it uses very little CPU.

@Dark_Angel85: at the moment there's no way to change the lockscreen language without changing the phone setting.

@F2thaK: I forgot to read the color setting for the font used in the battery widget, the next update will surely fix this issue.

@eefo: it happened also to me once. For some reason the process didn't respawn when I killed it.
If qtlockscreen is not restarted when you kill it just launch it from the terminal

/usr/bin/qtlockscreen &

I found a bug this morning: to stop the alarm I had to unlock the lockscreen to view the alarm screen. I'll fix this. ;)

install load-applet and it will give a camera option in status bar click on it and use camera button to take the pic or wait for 20 sec

BUGS: Can't put a rectangle under the mediaplayer controls, hence the extended rectangle.

Sakya, care to share the PNGs used for the battery etc, so that I can blank them and put in the ones from my lockscreen mockups?
