But it's a folder so it's cd /etc/apt/sources.list.d/

Watch your typos ;) when you did
cd /etc/
then you want in the next folder, dont start with / but do folder/
so:
/etc/: cd apt/
and NOT cd /apt/

It would be awesome if you could upload the whole rootfs, or in this case only /etc/apt/
