@Ancelad use sudo and add NOPASSWD rule for /opt/switcher/switcher.sh to to sudoers

Yes, my script is working with sudo and edited sudoers is really good thing :) But I think that many other users don't have sudo :D So, I've told "Something like this" and posted desktop code with devel-su :)

You guys think that it would be possible to include nfs support?
Unfortunately i don't know about the ties with the kernel, except the name nfs-kernel-tools... ;)

unfs3 never worked for me and afaik standard nfs is better in many ways

Should be doable, yes. at least the NFSD kernel module is needed.

That would be awesome

with working nfs people could use ext4 fs partitions with windows (and of course any unixoid os) via wifi

Qick question:

do I need to install ubiboot to use the plus kernel or can i just flash it with flasher?

I cant seem to find any good documentation on how to get started with different kernels, ubiboot nitdroid and such...

Well you can of course flash the kernel normally, but ubiboot was designed to help you with this. With ubiboot you can boot kernels just like that, no need to flash anything, just copy files to the device and reboot.

There's fairly complete wiki page for ubiboot install: http://wiki.maemo.org/Ubiboot

hmmh. okay, my first attempt at NFSD does not seem to work like it should :(

I am getting unresolved symbols....

Better you do not yet try the module, until I get to the bottom of this.
