this is what "add to startup button do it:
"QProcess::execute("sudo cp /opt/qtedger/qtedgerup /etc/event.d/");

elros34 after running it as root, it didn't crash!
But running it from the application menu, it crashes!

I vote for this because I don't like this slight red borders inside :).
Anybody know how to copy something to /etc/event.d without sudo?
