its's not a bug. after overriding short action to dbus call it need time to send signal message from server to client applications, application should listen this message and send lock message to mce back. so, this is delay. nobody can decrease it. and it's not a bug. understand? :)

Rewritten from scratch.
For returning original short action disable Legacy behaviour.
When legacy disabled short action change mce config directly.

please test Legacy behaviour setting. If it working okay and locking delay by short press when Legacy disabled and enabled.

Doesnt fix bug.

When version 0.0.1/none installed: Fast double press locks and unlocs screen.

This is what it should do



When 0.1.0 installed: Fast double press does nothing.

This is what it should NOT do



Double press is somehow active but theres no action set.

Version 0.1.0 waits 500ms for second press. Thats why theres delay.

lol? double press never locks/unlocks screen by application :D
you used some tweaks for it :D

now i see what you mean, and it not related to application. just reapply your tweak. i can implement it in next version

after v0.0.4 signal from powerkey pass through power menu, if you want you can edit mce.ini and set default values for shortpress (tklock-lock) and doublpress (disabled)

@lorenzo he used tklock-both for doublepress, as i see now :D
@Mikkosssss why not to explain it more understandable before? why you talking about mystic double delays and so, and not about lock/unlock by double pressing? :D i'm just laughting because of this situation :D

I Dont use any other powerkey tweaks
no double press to unlock/lock!

By explaining what happens when double pressing I wannted to tell you that theres double press activated but it doesnt do anything. Power menu activates it.

You can fix it by changing line

PowerKeyDoubleDelay=500
Change it to 1ms


Edit: Read my earlier post now made it more understable.
Or do I need to make teaching animation like for kids like how bread is made or something. :rolleyes:
