Re: The mighty n900 week 2014 (Day 5 of 7)
"Why do we both drink if there is no result?"
 "Show you the result?" again. Haven't you been watching those commercials aimed at your age group with the hand-puppets dancing around singing "Break-Free" and similar songs about how you don't need stimulants to be cool? And how exactly are we going to show you the result? Bubble-wrap a glass of it and purolator-it to you? One last prob here. Sorry dude I draw the line at shipping booze to minors...it is illegal you realize. ooo_O SNAP! money shown. :D |
Re: The mighty n900 week 2014 (Day 6 of 7)
Why no phone with internal drink tank. I think we need to point dirk and joerg in that direction. Both jolla and neo need this feature. The hw must handle atleast 15 cl. :D shipping with favorite liquor :)
The epic n900 week 2014 is just below of n900 week 2013 in number of posts so... Come on. Let's kick the *** of 2013. |
Re: The mighty n900 week 2014 (Day 6 of 7)
I like it because you can run it without a “user account” and it still functions well.
You need certain devices that are able to run without a user account, disabled backup, rolling through Tor at some random free wifi spot so you can search, “Is it just me or are they tracking everything we do?” |

You don't even need an external software tool to download the .deb installable and keep a local copy on a USB stick for after the apocalypse :) Now anybody has Fennec 17.0 .deb optimized for Thumb, please? :p Edit: should have written. Correct: and there's why it still functions well!! |

Quick reply...
The fragile 'charger' is so broken apart that I have finally ordered Nokia's official charger. From Italy :) Hoping it will be delivered within next week, and then I will be able to aptitude update, aptitude upgrade... Best wishes. |
Re: The mighty n900 week 2014 (Day 6 of 7)
Eh? I have three phones in active use (N900, N9 and Jolla) and not a single original charger. The N900 came without one, the N9 came with a US one and the Jolla with a European one. I need a UK one :) So I bought a couple of chargers from a local charity shop. £1 each. By coincidence, both Samsung. They work perfectly with all three phones.

harhar...ugh..um....yeah.... it was bad punning Still got my original charger...remarkable unto itself...in pretty much pristine. Same with my n900...excepting a single chafing internally from matching up carved accessories with the body.....and a single 2mm long cut on the glass (almost unnoticeable and quite unobtrusive ) ps pichlo ...you'll have to tell us the model no. of those smashsum chargers....handy to have a list of compats. that flawlessly work esp. if lookylooing around 2nd hand shops....we all may be passing by cheap opportunity for back up chargers. |
Re: The mighty n900 week 2014 (Day 6 of 7)
So I was working on a particular Excel file on the PC @ school and needed wanted to continue to work on it on my Lumia 1520. Nothing special, just a few worksheets with certain type of cell formatting, no functions or tables, etc... And..... Office mobile blows!!!! Could not do basic type of cell formatting on the Lumia 1520. Sure, it was nice to look at in that huge screen but in my opinion unusable. Now, fire the same .xls file on the N900 and it was a different story. Much more options as far as cell formatting is concerned. Long live the N900.
Edited for punctuation. |

Hm...yeah..I got a pocket flask that has a flip out side for cigarettes...(sadly I don't smoke cigs anymore...gone digital....so it goes unused...I have other compartmented flasks that have varying purposes...grand on a hike or expedition) ie like these.... http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Handle-Stainl...item234017b367 I did find what you are looking for tho. Dave. http://s26.postimg.org/e9we07gd5/iflask.png the iflask. unfortunately it isn't actually a working iphone. Not unless they devised a way to store the booze internally after they got rid of the iphone guts and magically got it to run. ....Heaven forbid it runs off your booze repository! BUT if you drink enough I bet it'll start workin for ya. |
