Is it possible to reenable the file extension .BIN.Z ?
The build in filebrowser can't recognize some of my games that worked before.

until PR1.2 is released. It will work.

Well... I appreciate your work but I like the included one better. It fits N900. But you may revise yours. :D

You can also replace /usr/share/psx4all/psx4all_banner.jpg with yours and use it.
It's a freedom of free software after all. :)

When i type that in the Xterm, it tells me:

"dpkg: requested operation requires superuser privilege"

3.5 looks a lot better smoku, still cant seem to get any of my roms to work though, the screen goes black then stays there or it just exits the emu. i must be doing something wrong somewhere

if i try to force the depends in xterm as root i get

dpkg: error processing psx4all_0.3.5_armel.deb (--install):
cannot access archive: No such file or directory
Errors were encountered while processing:
psx4all_0.3.5_armel.deb

in which directory do i have to put the file to install it?
should i deinstall earlier versions of psx4all before installing the new one?

Add the address before the filename such as /home/user/MyDocs/psx4all_0.3.5_armel.deb

.BIN.Z and .ZNX were ISOs, compressed with (an older version of) pocketiso.
Psx4iphone is using these too, as I read in the wiki.

Thanks for your reply, did as you told me and the PSX4ALL installed fine.

It's Just that when i try to load it the program closes and im back to the maemo desktop.

Sorry if i sound annoying, I probably am, I am just desperate to get PSX4ALL running again on my n900 as it did before the dependency problem. :o

Mine doesnt even open it quits before it loads. I've done the dkpg command line I must have done something wrong.

It seems to have install using the regular dpkg -i install even though it had the dependencies error.
Nice to see my banner :D

Also, I can't seem to change key bindings...

You can't yet. You need to put it in /home/user/scph1001.bin file.

Having the same issue. I guess it's because we installed with the missing dependencies. Oh well. We'll just have to wait for pr 1.2. should come quite soon anyway.

i got breath of fire to load with a few changes. like cycle multipliers and frameskips. then it came up with the configure keys from 3.1 and THEN no keys worked at all. ive since downgraded back to 3.1 which works perfectly apart from a stair glitch at the first cliff

yeah theyre in the same places as 0.3.1 (/home/user/scph1001.bin), so it runs like the load game without bios option you had before in the old build.

and becuause theres no bios,ff7 crashes when it enters battle :(

As I tried out 0.3.4, I had the problem, that the screen remained black while loading a game with scph1001.bin.
Only sound was there and the emu did not response after a while.
I've tried it out 2 times.

On 0.3.5 I've made a reboot after installation.
The bios is definately loaded (with logo on start up).

I thought in the new version, we can remapp the buttons on menue.
I was astonished to see the old "press .. for.." dialog on first start up.

Is it a known bug, that in the mapping menue some icons are messed up ?

:o Am I realy the only one, that have the correct button mapping problem in all versions, I've stated a few times before ?

I'm running 0.3.5 and it loads the bios just fine for me. No problems here. I also have bios files in MyDocs aswell as in home/user.

Return to launcher/menu key dosent work, restarts instead.
Load/save state not present.
Still no disable sound.
I went into key conf just to look, when i started a game during the same session, i was promted the configuration setup implemented in 0.3.1 just before the bios loaded up.

Oh yes. This is a "workaround" for the non-working UI keyconfig. If you enter key settings, you will be prompted to configure next time you start game. :)

Btw i had some eu-pal roms that didn't work on 0.3.3 or 0.3.4,
however they did work on <=0.3.1 and now on 0.3.5 again.

Just thought you should know :) i figured it might have
something to do with the scaling methods you used, but i dunno.

Until it is resolved the keymapping cannot be done.

I removed the checks that return NULL from cell_renderer_key_start_editing () and it seems to work (setting controls an' all). Now you just need to figure out why those checks are failing or just leave 'em out. ;)

P.S. I doubt it's the ones that are using g_return_val_if_fail () for I did not see any messages in my syslog.

i cant seem to install 0.3.4 it tell me i need some qt files. i did the apt-get install update and apt-get install libqt4 and stuff

but i cant seem to get the right packages. is there a work around? or how did you guys manage to fix this?

i miss

libhildon1(>= 2.2.10)
