Thank you.

I recompiled the rss applet with a smaller vertical width. I'd upload the deb, but it's kind of messed up.

Toronto is bitterly cold in the winter, but Vancouver is much nicer. But still, we have a lot of months where the temperature hovers around freezing, the clouds darken the sky, and the cold, cold rain pelts down day and night.

But starting around now (April) and going until early October, the weather improves, the sun starts to show himself more than the clouds, and I ride my bike home from work along the sea wall, and I get to see that view in the photograph several times a week.

looks good. You should talk to the developer of OMWeather about the font. vasvlad

Your tablet would look better if all the fonts matched.

Personally, I just use x11vnc and take the screenshots from the computer.

Pretty cool, huh? :D

It's the result of the efforts and documentation by Rodrigo, Fanoush, and Jott at Rotation Support for OS2008. You'll need to flash your N8x0 (running OS2008), but it's only replacing the kernel, adding libraries, and a plugin. If done correctly, you won't need to re-install your apps. As with all flashing, I'd recommend you do a backup first.

Since I was rebuilding my N810 anyways, I did my from scratch using a clean RX44...OS2008.2.51-3 firmware and then applied the kernel according to the instructions in that link.

I like rotation. So much,, i modded the applet and created my custom kernel to have it enabled :) (which is going through an update)

I actually have no idea. It's included as a option in bootmenu however. This is a customised version of bootmenu where I added my name and themed it black :)

That screenie with the text is the output from the kernel and init etc :)

If you put it in one column mode, you can see all your apps! (unless you have alot!)

Benson 2008-04-25 23:27

Re: Show off your screenshots

I haven't upgraded yet. Old version is fine. It handles it correctly, while the apps menu makes no effort!

(And I have two columns worth of stuff.)

OSEmuTech, Is matchbox-keyboard running within the Mac emulation, or directly on the maemo platform? If on maemo, is there a deb for it somewhere?

(BTW, your Mac emulation looks really cool.)

OSEmuTech 2008-04-27 13:53

Re: Show off your screenshots

Thanks GeraldKo. It's running in Maemo, outside the Basilisk II emulation. BTW: I used Personal Menu to launch both Basilisk II and Matchbox-keyboard.

Matchbox-keyboard is in the Maemo CJK repo.
