Re: [Announce] Sony Playstation 1 Emulators
I am also having problems trying to install.
apt returns a size mismatch error for psx4m-gui. Could you upload a new version with bumped revision to see if it gets fixed? |

Re: [Announce] Sony Playstation 1 Emulators
Thanks for your help bonapart
Got a bit further now and managed to get a game to run - just need to have a fiddle with the settings to make it run at an ok speed. I deleted all my repositories, rebooted my phone and then installed them again. I was then able to install psx4m-gui straight from App Manager rather than through xterminal Fingers crossed it's looking ok |
Re: [Announce] Sony Playstation 1 Emulators
Hey. Nice work on this!
But I have one little problem with key configuring in the GUI. When I try to open the key configurator, it says "Couldn't open previous key config", and gives "done" button. When I press it, the configurator opens, but all keys are just pointing "0". You can change them as you want, but when trying to save the configuration, it says "Something goes wrong, check permission to keys file" Root permission has no effect with it. |

Re: [Announce] Sony Playstation 1 Emulators
AgogData: ask Notaz (link to pcsx-rearmed thread) , mark as problem with sound
m4r0v3r: install latest version ivgalvez: really not user-friendly ? after install it require a lot of settings, always buggy and sometimes very slow... i don't care for user-friendly - functionality is better way to improve app |
Re: [Announce] Sony Playstation 1 Emulators
am using the latest version?
|
Re: [Announce] Sony Playstation 1 Emulators
Don't worry mate!
I think the overall experience of the application is really improving every day. There are lots of game that simply work out of the box. |
Re: [Announce] Sony Playstation 1 Emulators
Is it possible to create a shortcut to start a game directly (with the settings saved for it using the GUI application)?
Also - adding an option to the GUI application -> "Create Shortcut" for a game will be great also. |
Re: [Announce] Sony Playstation 1 Emulators
This is so great!

Re: [Announce] Sony Playstation 1 Emulators
Are there any plabale football (soccer) games out there? Most I have tried are unplayable on any setting.
On another note - World's Wildest Police Chases and PGA Tour 97 appear to play ok under PCSX-ReArmed |

Re: [Announce] Sony Playstation 1 Emulators
Updated to newest version and my FF7 Memory Card Save files wont open anymore in PCSX core, the continue option is faded out. Memory Card files from PSX4M are still working. Has the newest version have a different memory card directory for PCSX?

Re: [Announce] Sony Playstation 1 Emulators
I finally got my camera fixed, so I'll upload a video later this week.
Have you been able to download the new release already, bonapart? |
Re: [Announce] Sony Playstation 1 Emulators

Re: [Announce] Sony Playstation 1 Emulators
I've updated pcsx from 4.0.5 to 4.0.6 and now HWA crashes and results in a segmentation fault-error.
Did you remove the experimental HWA, bonapart? |
Re: [Announce] Sony Playstation 1 Emulators
i tried latest versions and :
psx4m is the winner more faster than pcsx rearmed 0.4.0.6 psx4m with bios cycle 3 frameskip 8 n900 1150mhz and all games run very well but freezes with any games pcsx rearmed do nor freeze but more slow |
Re: [Announce] Sony Playstation 1 Emulators
tried to install from extras-devel repositories, but after downloading i get a message telling me the installfiles are damaged... :s
|
Re: [Announce] Sony Playstation 1 Emulators
pcsx: Runs the fastest. Accurate sound emulation, but runs horrible with sound enabled.
pcsx -gles: Most accurate and compatible GLES rendered emulator, but runs laggy. psx4m: Runs well even with sound emulation, but the sound emulation itself is inaccurate. psx4m-gles: Fastest GLES rendered emulator, but has compatibility issues. All tried at 1150MHz and 0 frameskip. bonapart, I know you only port the emulator, but do you think you can enable Dualshock 3 controller (analog) compatibility? blight's SDL plugin, used in Mupen64plus, is capable of doing that and I would love to see this function on pcsx. Edit: Currently recording some gameplay videos of Rollcage and Rollcage: Stage II - I'll post them here when I'm done. |
Re: [Announce] Sony Playstation 1 Emulators
ffha: i already answered to this question : cuz i doesn't have DS3 i can't write any kind of support of it
right now i have plans to rewrite gles from scratch, make vibration support(by n900 itself) and send latest pcsx-rearmed to repository. But i have no time to this plans, cuz i have exams right now :-( XiliX: read previous pages plz, have no time to help you with searching thread about nokia repos errors |
Re: [Announce] Sony Playstation 1 Emulators
