How can you tell it's the new screen?
Phone looks hot though

It doesn't curve down the side as much it seems. Which for me mean possibly less screen cracks when dropped.

Old is top new is bottom of the image.

Is there any F(x)tec profile on mastodon/fediverse? I'm not using twitter and I don't plan to start.

You don't need to use one to be able to read the tweets.

Not if, like me, you've blocked all access to social media in /etc/hosts. Being in the US, my health just can't tolerate exposure to most of it.

But if anyone would like to endure it and occasionally quote some of the updates here, I would be most grateful and definitely click the "Thanks" button. Admittedly, it's a rather small reward for something I could do for myself if weren't so hard-headed about this new-fangled aspect of the internet ;) . . .

I wonder if there's any possibility of an N900-style OtterBox case with a superbezel around the sliding screen. That saved my beloved device more than once. (Thinking about this a lot lately thanks to XperiaX disaster :( )

Not sure what screen protectors would fit this phone, possibly s8? I'm not sure after the change in curve for the display, also not sure if anything happened with that London event that was briefly mentioned once.

The s8... Now because of the screen change I don't think it would fit, or fit more, I can't remember what the edge was like in the s8, but I think it was like the previous display.

EDIT: we have a new updatehttps://pbs.twimg.com/media/D5uO1GtW4AAqlst.jpg the keyboard buttons are slightly more curved (on the left)
