where did you get .debs from?

replaced the hd-codecs and It gave 1-2 fps and 2 MBps more, but the other 2 packages return errors and I'm afraid to remove omap3430-dsp-baseimage-ti ; omap3430-dsp-libraries-ti as dpkg proposed

What exactly is not clear in:
"1. Download attached .deb files on your n900 in a directory of your choice"

we can watch 720p out of the box on the N9 and the omap dsp debs are backported from harmattan .

knobtviker, I had hopes that this thread would somehow lead you into investigating further possibilities to make a skype video call-type of app for N9 :)

I'm always on the lookout for info about that. But Skype videocall is a closed source uber protected library... :/
