using 1.1.4 since yesterday

1)uninstall 1.0 stable
2)install 1.1.4 & reboot
3) no problems, no malf,
4) better overall performance
5) drive and maps lock gps instantly (10sec)!!!!!!! (faster n9?)

I'm still using 1.0.1 and . . . I have overclocked my N9 with OPPtimizer (currently on 1,25 GHz)...
Are there any known issues using FasterN9 1.1.4 on an overclocked device?

* I have only noticed following: after booting my N9 with FasterN9 (1.0.1) it takes really long to open the "Notes" unlike without FasterN9 (starting other Apps doesn't take that long, so there is only a issue with "Notes").

I have my N9 overclocked to 1375 MHz and 1375000 mV (for months and months). I am running Faster N9 version 1.1.14 with no issues at all.

And I just tested the Notes app with no issues at all. Generally, I have found that apps open faster and operate faster, especially conversations app and browser.

I observed this behavior, too. But also without FasterN9 the Notes Application needs very, very long to start after a reboot -- at least sometimes. I didn't get any clue so far what's the reason...

You didn't happen to overclock the CPU with 1.1.4 did you? It makes my phone heat up like an oven.

This is true for me, too. And of course a side effect is that the N9 eats the battery charge in high speed. No upgrade from previous version, i.e. several reboots between uninstallation of 1.1.3 and installation of 1.1.4.

I'm in the same situation as Hacker, my N9 doesn't feel like an oven and the notes app runs smoothly (for now).

No malf here :) super fast UI, no problem for now! Just some micro lags while scrolling the event-feed screen but no drama! Great work

Installed over 1.0, no MALF, everything seems ok. Haven't ran long enough to say anything concrete about performance.

But I noticed that there's an extra file leftover from some installation. I don't know if it causes any harm or not:

Code:

~ $ ls -l /etc/init/apps/ | grep -i faster
-rw-r--r--    1 root    root          288 May 26  2012 FasterN9.conf
-rw-r--r--    1 root    root          217 Dec 23 04:08 fastern9d.conf

I think 1.1.4 is the best version so far.
