Can someone here answer a question for me about this product?

Does the price include map and application updates?

And if so, when you install it does it add an application repository for software and map updates?

Map updates yes. Application updates, I'm not so sure. I think they said yes (to 10, currently this is 9). But not for Aura (since it's a different map application focused more on social aspects I think)

As for repo and map updates. No it does not add a repo for software and map updates, I guess they plan on distributing it the old fashion way (download from their website). Or maybe through the Ovi repo if Nokia ever fixes the problems associated with the Ovi store.

The repo is here in this very thread, posted by Zdeno, it can be added manually.

Offline in what way? The repository is responding and reports as having the mobile-maps-9 .deb file there (though it's not an updated version). I've not actually tried downloading the file though.

Sorry, I meant offline for updates...

edit: to clarify further: this repo is not used to provide updates.

Is the intention not to use it for updates (when any become available) though? I assumed they'd just not finished developing/testing the updates yet.
