whats the difference between the global and uk firmware ?? i dont see any, except in Settings>About Phone, those few numbers have changed

I imagine that it shouldn't be beyond the realms of possibility to extract the filesystem images from two different variants of the firmware and compare them. There may be differences in the parts of the firmware that aren't visible on the filesystem (e.g. the code for the GSM chipset), but it might throw something up.

Of course, we'd need to have a UK release to compare with the global one first.

I cant read 122 pages, but has this been released on Voda UK yet ? nothing has appearred in the updates ?

Which ever language you speak the answer is no. There is no update as of yet for UK firmwares.

N900 3.2010.02-8 Firmware Update...

Has this update been rolled out in the UK? (Vodafone)
Just checked update manager but no signs of any update to firmware yet...

Any info appreciated!
