Because the last thing anyone needs is a legion of TMO trolls haranging some poor woman for 720p drivers.

The IP may be ancient and 'obsolete' however I think you will find that their current offerings are probably heavily based on their old ideas.

The absolute best case scenario is FMG (assuming he has time for this ****) or someone getting a NDA that would allow them access to the code.

I doubt they would really care for PR exercises. They do not sell to end users.

@vi_ - come on, this is not her personal account. At least I hope so.

However, still not a word from that lady, besides that finally she shared her "contact details" (skype users know what I mean) a couple of hours ago. I'll wait a bit to hear from her, and will start pestering her :)

BTW I am not sure NDA way is what I want to happen. Though if that is the only way I'll accept it.

Because it does the "same" thing that gst-dsp does, but has higher priority in gstreamer rank list.

Unfortunately, despite I tried to reach that lady a couple of times, there is nothing from her side. I guess we should follow the formal way (though HFC and BoD) first. Feel free to contact either body, I'm ok to help with technical details once there is a green light for such a project.
