Correct me if I'm wrong, but I vaguely remember memebers of HiFo (board or council, I can't, honestly, tell one from another) of that time (joerg_rw) taking part in discussion about contacting them. So what you mean by "contacting them"? Some kind of official letter from Community (i.e. who?), eh?

wget does not delete the files. please look into the debs for the scripts, that finally delete the files.

hey guys, hope yu'all gud.
Has anyone successfully overclocked n900's DSP, I can't find a clear guideline on what to do to get this set up.
All google search results r shallow as nothin really points out to where I'd exactly set up from 430 onwards..

Do you have any root capabilities application installed? Are you root when typing the command?
Do you have kernel-power installed with the flasher and modules package?
Do you have kernel-power-settings installed?

Yes Michaa62, had root capabilities but didn't have kernel power setting, downloaded n installed, was able to load the dsp overclock .txt file but can't notice a change. Cud it be cos I don't have kernel power with flasher plus the modules? Cos if so, am confusd on how to proceed as I already have cssu3 kernel & settings. if I try installing KP51r1, won't I be downgradin my kernel?

No you will not be downgrading. KP is absolutely needed to load OC settings. And latest is KP52.

Thanks Handaxe, where can I get the KP52 cos I have extra devel n it ain't there (btw, I haver found it anywhere, from online repos, from HAM/FAM, nowhere).
any advice on that?
