uninstall muppen64plus

delete all muppen64plus register files with filebox

install muppen64plus

and with dinamic core , gles 0.04 plugin , brig sdl gamepad , not sound

sound horrible , i tried 8 hours and nothing, yes 8 hours , changing buffers

primary 65535 and secondary 2048 and hig buffer and low buffer and frecuency , tried and tried and nothing, sound horrible

better without sound and pad with mempak option .

zelda majora mask are running well but are not running full speed,
super mario 64 full speed
mario kart 64 well speed
killer instinct gold slow and with frameskip
carmageddon64 slow

for example

my n900 950mhz

The best solution only for engineers :

buy a arm cortex 8 dual core or arm9 dual core 1ghz or 1,2 ghz or 1.5 ghz

change arm chipset in n900 motherboard , and re-write firmware and reinstall maemo 5

and n900 will run very well all emulators

I don't think people have the ability to change CPU chipsets themselves, nor would the developers of this emulator go to that length to run N64 with sound on an N900.

Otherwise, I can report some slight speed improvements in SM64 and TLOZ: MM.I did have to re-write my own keyboard configurations again though.

Also having issues since update.

Crashes with:
XLib: unexpected async reply (sequence 0x27)!
Segmentation fault

Removing gles config file removes XLib error.

Removed config dir. Get blank screen.
Used config file from first post. Get messed up UI (No icons). Games didn't work.
One time it locked device up, forcing me to remove the battery.
Another time I got muncap_check() as the error.

Game Gripper Config

2 Attachment(s)
Hi guys,

I've been lurking for quite some time and I thought I'd contribute something to the community too. If you like to use the game gripper for emus like I do, you might've run into the problem that P (the key that is pressed by the yellow Game Gripper button) pauses the emulator and therefore is useless to you. Well no more! I looked into the config and changed it to O. I also noticed that you cant quit the game comfortably and always have to use ctrl+ backspace to exit, so I remapped Stop Emulator to B which is the bottom left button in the middle of the Game Gripper.

I'll make my files available to you so you dont have to dig around in the conf files yourself.

Hera are the 3 easy steps to Game Gripper goodness:

1. Download the zip file that is attached to this post

2. Unpack the zip file

3a. Replace your "mupen64plus.conf" with my "mupen64plus.conf" from the zip. To do that either use FileBox (see App Manager) to navigate to /home/user/.mupen64plus/ and replace it or do it via X-terminal.

3b. Replace your "blight_input.conf" with my "blight_input.conf" from the zip. To do that either use FileBox (see App Manager) to navigate to /home/user/.mupen64plus/ and replace it or do it via X-terminal.

You only have to do step 3b so that the Start button will be mapped. You can change all the other key mappings in Mupen, but I never managed to map start to anything while using the gui. I've included a picture of how the keys will be mapped on the Game Gripper - they are my preference for Mario Kart 64, so feel free to change them around.

I hope this post helped somebody, cheers.
