Re: Tear 0.2 - a simple maemo WebKit browser.
Hey, I just want to say that I like the way the zoom is working. It allows Internettablettalk to be legible without the slow "fit to screen" feature that is in the microb browser.

Here reporting that Tear works ok also with Chinook, which I still run for my day-by-day usage. Thanks guys. Its webkit as quick as debian midori.

It also no more crashes, if i click another link while it's still downloading the current page.

Re: Tear 0.2 - a simple maemo WebKit browser.
I've tried it, uninstalled using standard maemo UI, but battery drains quickly. Is it something which can be left? How can I remove libidn11? Thanks.

Re: Tear 0.2 - a simple maemo WebKit browser.
There's nothing in it that can drain the battery. Maybe when you ran it it left a hanging process? A restart or killall tear from terminal will fix that.

Re: Tear 0.2 - a simple maemo WebKit browser.
@Bundyo: Is the source code for Tear 0.3 and any changes you made to webkit available somewhere? I'm really interested in getting this building nicely in Mer as a proof of concept (and as a day-to-day browser!) but I can't seem to find the source code...

Re: Tear 0.2 - a simple maemo WebKit browser.
Okay, I have some features to finish and will upload it to garage. It doesn't freeze now (though I resorted to use static arrays). I also added a feature or two (including small dashboard).

No, tried to compile it in sb2 and succeeded (without interruptions like in sb1) but the result is not working at all :) Still trying though.
