How do I make it look like this? http://img18.imageshack.us/img18/579...0041712244.png
When I put this command i get something like this:

What I am doing wrong? I would love to have the same setup as jakiman...

Open up the settings of this snippet you posted. Scroll down to where you'll see Command Title Settings there you will see the image filename (something like queen-beecon....png). Just leave that filed blank as it will remove the image in the middle of the snippet. Then scroll a tad further down under Command Results Settings and remove the next .png file from Image filename. If you did both of these correctly, after you save the settings you should be left with a black box and the words Max Freq on the top of the snippet like you typed and 600MHZ onthe bottom. Just be careful when creating these snippets that depending on the command you are setting them up for, you check or uncheck the 3 little boxes a little further down under Update Policy. Hope this helps!

Using titan's latest maemo25 kernel and booting to kernel power setting's ideal profile. (500-850 low voltage)
I used Queen beecon widget and created buttons to change oc profile on the fly. (stock to just compare)

eg ideal button's script: (ideal_default) is a copy of ideal from /usr/share/kernel-power-settings/
Code:

/usr/sbin/kernel-load /home/user/MyDocs/files/ideal_default | sudo gainroot
Very left widget just displays my current max frequency when clicked using following noob script:
Code:

cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_max_freq | awk '{print $1/1000"MHz"}'
loving it so far. been overclocking to 1ghz everyday since lehto created his first modded kernel. no issues yet.

I got ~18fps with drnoksnes yoshi's island at stock speed.
Now I get over 35fps at the same spot with 1ghz. Amazing.

first want to say thanks for making ocing my n900 so easy

whats the point of the lcd and rootfs widgets..?

The LCD one dims the screen and the rootfs just displays your rootfs free memory.

Re: N900 overclock tests/results and new versions

I use the Titan Ideal (500-850mhz) and normaly i don't have any problems due to heat or bad crashes.
Though i noticed 2 major crashes. After a 5 minute videocall on skype phone reboots and the videorecording aplication crahes after 1-2 minutes of video capturing.
I just wanted to know if anyone of you had the same issues...

I am thinking of going back to a non titan kernel or going to up to 900mhz. What do you think of that? (I had the customs kernels from Unlockr for a month and worked fine)

Update: After changing the limits on Titan to (500-900mhz) videorecording didn't even crash after recording 6++ minutes. (Normaly crashed after a minute or so) After 6 minutes of recording i stopped the recording myself.

I am overclocking with the following command

Code:

sudo /usr/sbin/kernel-config limits 850 850
Am I right in thinking that this is the default Nokia voltage? And would I get better battery life (at least in theory) if I used a different voltage?

If so how do I easily change the voltage. e.g if I want to use lv voltage would I just change the code to

Code:

sudo /usr/sbin/kernel-config lv limits 850 850
or is it more complicated than that?

i have the same thought......As said many times in overclocking (still searching for that thread), we might fry our n900's if we lock the cpu @550mhz on stock (which is 54 value and 1.275 volts). So if i understand correctly, every voltage lower than that is OKAY.

850mhz in IDEAL settings has 48 value and 1.200v which should be fine if its locked at that config???
