lol i think i get faster speeds on 2.5g (tmobile usa)

I get 8MBps d/l speeds on 3.5G, but there's a 1GB bandwidth limit so I'll wait till I'm back home, shouldn't take long.
Torrents? Well, I'm not the only one using this connection and ra**** it to upload a file would surely cause problems. There's a 7GB limit on this one too, so just give me some time, the project isn't dead.

Just wanted to note that if you're using an ADSL (not a wireless) line in Jordan the system that calculates the bandwidth usage doesn't include the amount of uploaded data only the downloaded.

hope this was helpful :) .

Leave him be, rushing something good usually ends badly.

Yeah, don't upload it now. A couple of weeks wait for a working Ubuntu image. Is well worth it.

But could you give us an update? What are the main obsticles now? What is working and not?

Is it possible to run this a la easy debian?
E.g. install stuff to image file, mount it and chroot to it?

Would be great if installed in such a manor it could be installed as stand alone and booted.

Re: [WIP] Ubuntu 9.10 on the N900

Is there any instructions for this using MultiBoot (Jay-C/NITdroid boot).
I could not get this to install. When I get to the chroot section on my N900 (bin/bash part) is fails each and every time. Was the same for Fedora (n900). Can anyone help with this?
Just can't get the chroot part to work  Feel like I'm missing something but I have followed all instructions to the letter :(

From here on is where it fails: (I understand I don't write Mohammad and use my own login)

chroot /mnt/ubuntu /bin/bash
useradd -m <replace with your username here> (e.g useradd -m mohammad)
# fill in details as you wish.
visudo
# Edit the file and add your username to sudoers using visudo
# Example (replace my username with yours)
# # User privilege specification
# root ALL=(ALL) ALL
# mohammad ALL=(ALL) ALL
