Make sure your 'big' data partition is not full or that you are not trying to create the backup while the device is connected to a PC in storage mode. Also, one thing that occured to me - which firmware are you using ? Can you tell if your data directory is named MyDocs ?

i think ive found the problem, my MyDocs went into being read-only again! i'm gna try to unmount then remount or just plain reboot then get back to you. thanks Atilla77

which option is better - android 10.1 or linux 10.1 (recommended) ?

what difference does it make ?

yepp it was the readonly fs. rebooting did the trick!

Depends on the site, really. The recommended is Linux 10.0 as that's the closest version to the one actually in the firmware (least chance of FUBAR) and the one that usually passes 'requires Flash 10' checks.

Tweak Flash version is very good to get back playable videos on Facebook and other sites as well.
However, I want to know, Why sites like Facebook check the version of the flash player and keep users with flash ver 9 away although the contents are playable on this old version?
Does using Tweak Flash version program violate the license of the flash player of N900 or not?

Code-wise it's complete for some time now (you can get it from gitorious), but my old build box is no longer with me (typing this on my emergency backup, a trusty PIII 500MHz), which makes testing/polishing a tad difficult. Fear not, as soon as finish my new build box, it's going to appear in extras-devel.
