You know what? I thought it wasn't possible, but I may be wrong.
I just tried adding another account, and it showed me the MfE account setup option.
I'll report back after testing with my wife's settings once she gets home.

Where did you get your N9? You are in the states, arent you

n950 dev device. not n9, but a comparable firmware.
When it comes to Exchange, email, and other software, indistinguishable from the n9.

Anyway, that wasn't my point. My point was that the N9 runs Harmattan, Maemo 6 essentially, whatever happens to MeeGo is irrelevant wrt the N9.

You're absolutely correct about Meego/Tizen (as it resides with LF and Intel) having little to do with Harmattan, however you could have posted the last line of your comment without the FUD and very much incorrect information about Tizen and Meego.

No, I don't think you did. I'm fairly sure you're making this up...

No one is surprised. Your sole purpose on these forums is to spread FUD, so of course you are not impressed. It is your intention to not be impressed, to make everyone aware of it, and to encourage others to feel the same way.

And... It just works? :)

Glad to hear some positive reviews on the N9. I'd really like to hear more, since the odds of me seeing one state side are slim. (And the odds of one being available to play with at a given store being 0.)

nonono no more good reviews it may hurt Elops strategy!!!

Sorry, but that's not at all true. Linux versions of Flash have come quite a long way in the not too distant past. I run Fedora at home, 64-bit, and the Flash support on it is actually better than on Windows. I had to add an extra repository, and upgrade my browser to meet package requirements, but that's expected.

I'm also all for open standards, but I'm not going to limit myself to things that are strictly open, or use a crappy replacement/wanna-be just because it's more open. If I did that, I wouldn't have gotten an N900, since it's far more closed than the FreeRunner I already had. Except the FreeRunner couldn't actually do things reliably, like get calls, or run on it's battery for more than 8 hours.

I'm all about improving the world of opensource, and using it where it's feasible. But I also live in the real world, where sometimes closed is the only viable option to get a task done.

again there IS open alternatives instead of flash and flash often crash/hangs firefox on my linuxboxes and eating cpu.

I am not a fanatic opennsource guru and knows very well that not all can be open but in case of flash there is alternatives.

let that peace of **** die...
