Gas Balls is available in Ovi store : http://store.ovi.com/content/51436

There are three ways you can use Gas-Balls:

1. As an application in full screen
2. As a screen saver
3. As a transparent layer on the desk

by the way, notice how the background live wallpaper (gas balls) stays constant on ALL the desktops.
vlad, if you could do that for your xscreensavers or video live wallpapers, it would be super epic!

I've said it before, I like the idea of this maybe getting .swf functionality. I could then maybe contribute to this community by making swf wall papers!

Yes. It will be done in new version of LiveWallpaper - 0.9

Now I'm finishing to do it.

I'm sorry. Project has only two developers I and Tanya. I hope we will make this feature later(if it's possible ) after released version 0.9.

i have installed this one but doesn't work well with my n900. several hours after apply this wallpaper,my widgets become dissapear.i won't use this anymore.
by the way, is there anyone who can tranform android live wallpaper to n900, it's cool...

The themes mentioned in your youtube description conky,liqflow etc are these the only ones which are compatible with livewallpaper?

Come to think about it nothing else really,well not on my phone for that matter.

But i will have look at apps which would suite this feature and let you know and see what you think, i don't want to create work for you just for my own pleasure.:)

Hi guys,

I think Livewallpaper is great app. and I am using it right now. However, I tried to add videos that is mp4 format as background and the video runs really not smooth. Is this app only work best with avi or is there any other way to improve performance?

Vlad - thanks to you and Tanya for this release however when i try and select liqflow or conky as my screen it simply stays at Loading Livewallpaper scene. I will try and play with it a little more but at this stage it doesnt look promising,

EDIT: Ok Here are my results of full testing.

1) One scene in all views doesnt seem to function and in fact seems to kill LWP sometimes so that I have to restart the phone to get it to work

2) Games in individual desktops seems to work ok.

3) Liqflow doesnt seem to function at all. Not sure If I need to install it as a separate app in order for this to work

4) Video clips now seem to play once and then stop. Sometimes they will start again for say 1 second then die.

It shouldn't!
there are some more tweaks we have put in place for it
but it is still not all sorted
I am as we speak uploading the cleaner version to -devel
which pauses etc according to the livewp api :)

this needs a configurator really because drawing new flows is a bit strange

happy to see it runs at fullspeed though :)

Hi, I'm not sure if I am posting this in the right place but there seems to be a slight problem with Live Wallpaper. If I have the city scene on the screen and then go to Catorise an elongated halo like region appears that connects the three central icons (horizontally).. I noticed this after I upgraded Live Wallpaper last night. This Halo goes away if I
return to the original "watersplash" screen and then go to Catorise. Is this a bug or do I need to change a setting somewhere?
