it's been available on amazon.de for a while now. 3 colours and the optional black 64gb. It's not through a reseller as far as i could see and someone else who could speak german on here had a look too.

I just ordered one from a store in Malaysia called shopping dynamic they said they have the cyan 64gb and it is only $520. It sounded too good to be true but I have searched for any scam or bad dealing with them and cannot find any. If anyone has any information on how reputable or reliable they are let me know thanks. No but I dont trust them, they had n9s available way before anyone and at a way too low a price.

I tend to fall in the camp that if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

Usually a store with a good reputation should be searchable on the internet. My biggest red flags:


a) When it lists Apple products with a discount that is my first flag that that this is not true. Apple doesn't just sell it's products anywhere and especially not at a discount. Show me ANY legitimate location that does have a discount.

b) In the About Us they list manufacturers that are nowhere on the website

c) Surprisingly sparse list of products. Surprisingly they're hard to get popular and expensive products that are strangely cheaper than anywhere else I've seen online

d) Banner ad for a product that doesn't exist: http://www.shoppingdynamic.com/index...ory&path=18_46

Could be real, but my guess is that it's probably not.

I don't think it is legit. The RRP in Malaysia for 64GB N9 is RM2088 (USD665) and this is also the street price. There are also no cyan 64GB N9 available yet. I would cancel the transaction with the credit card company if it is not too late.

Guys, I have a 64GB in black, but have always wanted to get it in cyan. Will it ever be released in 64GB? And... is the cyan much better?

I thought the same as you, but after looking at the real pics, the renders kind of trick you. For me I do not really like the glossy coating.

Has anybody else order from www.sgbest.com ?? No offense/disrespect to narzix but for 100$ cheaper than most common online retailers...I'm a little skeptical :S Their online chat is currently offline, do you know if its branded?

I have emailed them and gotten responses back, and have read posts from people who bought from them and received the phone.

It's cheaper yes, but the duties/shipping, etc. might not be :)

Shipping looks on pair with www.NegriElectronics.com ... and the duties depends on the country's customs I would believe... no? So still 100$ cheaper... lol :S

Sgbest only charged me about $31 for shipping to the US. Don't know if I will need to pay duty or not.

I bought from welectronics.com and even though it's "$100 more", their shipping was just $15. Plus, call them up for a discount to have shipping included, etc. They'll help you out and I saved more than $100 in the end ;)

And..delivered in three days. I live in Canada but would recommend even more if you're buying from the states.

Not sure if this helps but mobilecityonline (store in NYC) had 16GB N9 for about $680 and 64GB for $750.

Not bad as far as the 64GB price goes AFAIK.
Not sure what you do with it though when it breaks. Says it has no warranty. I went through most of the checkout on amazon.de and it was about 860 US for the 64GB though that might work warranty wise.

Guys, try Celluloco for a 64GB Cyan. It's odd, I know, but I emailed them yesterday and they told me they have it in stock. Maybe someone can benefit from this? I have my 64GB black already.

There is even mention on the review of someone buying some samsung phone because it was purple but the phone they recieved was black and being told that they do not guarantee color of purchase...

Also they seem to be selling a N950 also...very odd since they're not too many of those floating around out there, I'd avoid them based on their ratings and carrying colors of 64gb that aren't really anywhere else.

I got my 64gb black N9 from Welectroncis! Made in Chine version, unbranded. Came with a BS1363 plug which leads me to believe was intended for Singapore or Malaysia.

I cut down my TMobile sim and got it working rather easily. Works great on Tmobile in the USA. No software update yet.

Nokia must be selling much more N9:s than they anticipated. Price should tank a bit next year though if they want it to continue to sell well. And I think they would very much want that after they confirmed they will support Harmattan until 2015 so they might as well sell lots of phones otherwise what's the point? I wouldn't be surprised if the N9 out sells Nokias WP phones either. Maybe not in the US but in the rest of the world.

Edit: BTW, in Sweden the N9 16gb costs $740 incl tax. How the heck can mco sell an import device for $680? is it not including tax or is Nokia ripping us swedes off?

I am really glad I went with the 64gb! Between 45 GB of music and 7 GB of pictures, I only have like 2 GB left!

I like the Nokia Link software. Works pretty well. I might be more selective on my music, need the storage to shoot a crap ton of 720p video!

Also shot my contacts over via Bluetooth from my N900.

I agree, I think it's worth going for the 64GB especially if you plan to stick with this device for a long while (as I do - hopefully until a similar device is made)

There are numerous sites selling 64GB cyan and magenta but I'm skeptical it's the real thing.
So from those who have bought or who know first-hand, do any coloured models exist in 64GB yet?

Also, does anyone know if the White model is just coated or is it actually the material? In other words if it gets scratched it would be a disaster if the next layer colour was exposed.

I don't think there are many people from Costa Rica here, but anyways I just read on a paper that we are getting the N9.

I know it doesn't sound like big news or anything but we do have the cheapiest iPhones in the world, hope it is the same with the N9. Ill keep you posted.:)

Hello there,

I have been religiously following the debate here, and daily checking prices on handtec.co.uk, purelygadgets.co.uk, amazon.de, phonesonline.ie, microspot.ch, and various national Pixmania, Fnac and Phonehouse / Car phone warehouse websites.

My conclusion is that vendors clearly don't know yet how to price the N9. The prices are fluctuating daily on most of those sites (with no clear up/down tendency).

Today the black 64GB in amazon.de is out for grabs for 604.99€ (it was as high as 799.99€ in the past). For comparison, the 16GB is up for 579.95€.

I'm a bit concerned with the approaching Christmas season, and the effect that could potentially have on stock/prices, so I bit the bullet and ordered from amazon.de (that's the lowest price I've seen so far, from the more "serious" vendors).

I'll let you know which version/country/firmware once I get it, and its "frequency of crashes" status.

The time it took me to write this message, the 64GB price in amazon.de went back up to 677.77€. They're not changing the prices daily, they're changing them HOURLY.

That is actually the price I could get it locally in those downtown cellphone booths, lol. True... I could walk-in and out with the device in hand, but still trying to get it for around 800$ (including my piece of mind of course :P )
