Huh? Not very clear sentence structure, can you clarify please ^
And if possible, can you please directly address each question in my last post?

Thank-you.

dev device as hardware qwerty.
I don't know about the specs of either device, source tight lipped on this subject.
There will be a Gap of around a month to give time to devs who get dev device to recompile software for harmattan So there will be apps for Consumer device launch

I feel your pain NvyUs. :D
Qwerty=dev
Nonqwerty=consumers

Dunno about the exact SOC on both devices.

i am quite content to get a keyboard-less harmattan device, and only hope that the consumer candybar version is packing something a little more potent than Omap3.

thanks for the news.

Only way this makes sense is that the "developer phone" has different hardware (with kb but otherwise inferior) than "consumer phone". "Developer phone" is probably the one that was leaked ages ago with pictures and all (this would explain the outdated CPU and GPU spotted from Harmattan package list) and "consumer phone" is something that we have not seen yet (except maybe some quick moments in the teaser video).

EDIT: so slow...

Most of the smartphones sold today are very thin candybar, that's a fact. I personaly want a kb phone again, but for this new launching meego OS , Nokia should think to attract all the people with their differents tastes imho.
Btw if they don't do it first, i'm sure LG or Intel or others will make it faster ^^

and how quickly do you guess the "other dev" will get thru FCC?
'cuz short of gluing the two parts (keyboard & screen) together, there is no way the RM-680 certification will hold for a dev w/out keyboard.
might as well leave it up to the consumer not to open it if said consumer doesn't like it.
like i said in a past post, the RM-680 is much too nice to be a developer device (only).

I don't understand why something is a 'developer' device only, it doesn't make sense.

For a developer device we don't care how it looks! What we want is to be able to debug/view code, registers etc... thats more important, than the looks.

There is no point in putting effort into making it look nice if it's not going to be available to the public! The only difference between a dev device and consumer device would be the type of firmware loaded on - to enable them to recover the device quickly.

great, so no freaking way for end-users to buy the the qwerty for a reasonable amt?
Only the slate will be widely/publicly sold... How freaking lame :mad:
