Reading the "process" page for the Minty Boost, it says it's been dimensioned to supply 100mA (and it has been tested with 250mA), isn't that a bit low for the tablet?

Got this form a friend who didnt need it. I ordered a cheap from from dealextreme just some days ago, luckily i wont need it, stuff from DX has a tendency to...act interesting. When it comes to my N800 I was never fond of the idea that some DX **** was giving it juice.

You can use any portable charger that has a usb port in it with this.
I made myself a Minty Boost and it works well. i can get about 3 hours extra from it. and when it dies i just pop in 2 more AA and off i go

I also built a mintyboost and it works great so far.

Cptnodegard, That's the same unit as the Javoedge that I have. I love it. :D I see that it is cheaper from Proporta than from Javoedge. US $60 vs. $80. :(

Getting into the discussion here way late, but I picked up one of these two months ago to go with my new N800, and it works a treat. Canadian Tire still has lots. :)

I bought the Philips in a Media Markt (400 shop in Urop).Don't know about the UK.

It's part of the "Philips power2go" range. I also don't see it anymore in the US / UK Amazon.

Succes, Abel.
