Amazon doesn't charge till they ship, which means hopefully tomorrow morning I'll have a nice email saying "N900 Shipped"

You lie, I know it.

Is it weird the most exciting moment of my life will be the day I'm $586.98 poorer?

No it's not weird...I would have paid allot more for this device if Amazon and Nokia had the price higher.

Me too, seriously stoked about it! I just added a DynDNS spot for it's IP address on my account there! I'm thinking it would be sharp to be able to fire up Apache and FTP for support file downloads direct from my Phone.

I'm not sure what you are illustrating here.

But anyhow, I have a need for being somewhere, perhaps in an airport or at lunch and getting a phone call asking for something i may have on my phone. I just start Apache, give the person requesting the DynDNS URL and have them click on the Download. When they're done, stop Apache. Same for FTP. Having a server in your pocket? Priceless!

Not sure what you are asking here.

ProFTPd is in a few spots here **Search**

The Apache Deb package is available also with a **Search**

DYNDNS.org, how do you live your life without this? Every customer of mine behind DSL or cable modems with Dynamic IPs get one of these spots in my account.

I assumed you knew Linux, was that a mistake on my part? Not trying to be snarky, just making sure we're on the same page.
