I ordered one, and they didn't charge me yet.. so I am guessing that they will charge me when they get the item at their store.. or when they ship it to me.. :D

We're all getting a bit off topic, but regarding the Square Trade waranty, you can always go to their website and create your own waranty for the product after you've received it. In fact, if you like extended waranties, you can do that with pretty much all the electronics you purchase and it's a better deal than buying the waranty at the store.

True but it's around $78 instead of the $50 one on Amazon.

Yes on squaretrade.com it is $78 for 2 years. On amazon.com it is $50 for 3 years.

You may want to check your credit card again because mine got charged. Either yours is charged or your order will be canceled. Several people have complaint about their orders being canceled by Dell so you want to make sure they charge you... isn't it ironic to be hoping money gets taken from you account?

Lol.. well I am looking at my bank account right now.. and I didn't get charged yet.. (I used paypal and used the option to take the money straight from my bank account, so it might be different?).. Also, I just checked the order and it looks like it's fine.. *Crossing fingers* that it won't get cancelled..

The order status says: In Production..

Quote:

In Production: Upon approval of payment for your order, the order will be In Production. Production time includes obtaining the parts, assembly or build time, and shipping preparations/transit to the carrier. Shipping preparations will vary based on type of order and size.
I should be fine right?

I believe they took it down. Probably because they met their pre-order quota or they're trying to figure out how to make money back from the money they lost at the $442 price point people were getting. The n900's MSRP probably falls between $442 and $519.

The MSRP is 640. MSRP = Manufacturers Suggested Retail Price, i.e. what the manufacturer suggests vendors charge end users for their products.

What you´re talking about is called wholesale price.
