Re: Nokia exec Niklas Savander welcomes your questions on Twitter

i dont know about you guys but n900 satisfies most of my interests:

- right now i'm sitting in a bar drinking bear and texting this over 3g
- same time i'm chatting with few friends over gtalk and msn(pecan)
- watching niklas's answers over twitter
- just showed some youtube clip to fellows here
- checked mail (exchange and other)
- last night connected to company server over rdesktop
- etc...

updates will arive for some time, later you can sell it and buy a new device...

@NiklasatNokia as an S60 user – you are in fact in the biggest smartphone user group with 41% share
Uhh... that number seems highly unlikely. Where did he get that from?

You can easily see some comments have gotten off the core subject and into abject ranting. I'm a firm believer in the value of venting, but I also believe it's best either blown into space or channelled into something productive. Some comments here have been snide, juvenile and absolutely pointless in the context of the thread. Why do I have to even point that out?

I'm tired of Nokia's stonewalling, poor support and other frustrating practices, but I'm equally as tired of blamestormers here. What is the goal?

Global numbers of ALL smartphones? Just Nokia smartphones? I just find it hard to believe that 41% of all smartphones in the world are a Nokia S60.

Are any of you really surprised that this Dicklas dude did not give any hopes or anything remotely interesting answers regarding Maemo/N900? My point is, if you are you might be stupid? or just trolling?. (And no, I did not read any of his answers).

Well, you have: Symbian, Maemo, Meego, Android, iPhoneOS, Windows Mobile, PalmOS, Bada. Do the math.

And I find it hard to believe so many people are mesmerized by Apple and their laughable mobile phone, because they refuse to do their own research and figure out what's best for THEM!

Unfortunately for both of us, facts are facts and we have to deal with the facts of the situation no matter how they sound! :)
