can we expect a widget for the same, so that we don,t need to open the application rather we will be reminded abt our to do list on the desktop / main screen..

I'm currently not actively developing EasyList for Maemo 5 anymore. But the sources are all available so anyone can add the desired features as they please.

Hi

i can not create second list in easy list !

i did not find "add" button for the new list but it has "edit" button

can you resolve my problem ? THX

It has no such buttons.
Go to lists using the status menu on top, then just type your second list in the white bar and press save. For remove, simply select the list and press the remove button.
The "Edit list" button is for editing your current items in the shopping list.

In the course of time I made some adjustments to my liking towards this great app.

Code:
easylist (0.4.00) unstable; urgency=low

  * Backlight interval based on device settings
  * Created separate items file (no longer in the config file)
  * New config directory
  * Removed checkboxes in itemlist to save space
  * Custom layout of items in list
  * Items now centered in the list
  * Current listname displayed in statusbar
  * Textbuttons in main screen replaced by icons
  * Added list chooser icon in main screen for easy list switch
  * Changed edit-lists and sync-settings from widgets to stackable windows
  * Orientation settings now in QActionGroup

If you want to try it, you can download and install the deb file. Maybe it can be followed by an upload to extras-devel if reactions are positive.
I have taken to using qalender for notes and lists now, since having trouble with qlister. I will certainly try this out thanks.

Maybe request to become a maintainer so it can be promoted through. It seems current maintainer was online yesterday.

Few comments:

* Backlight interval based on device settings

I kinda considered this behaviour as feature, because when older EasyList was active, device didn't lock. With new version I will need to unlock device couple of times in a "crowded" shop. Maybe an option?

* Removed checkboxes in itemlist to save space

Kinda like this for additional space, but buttons now don't match device theme..

This is just a technical change, Willem based the "do_not_blank" on 5 seconds, I do that based on the devices settings (which could be 30 seconds)

Any change to a button (color or effect) will result in losing the maemo look and feel. I do like the current grayish look and feel/layout it resulted in BTW.

Sorry, my fault. It doesn't lock when "Keep backlight on" is selected and screen is dimmed. Must've deselected this option some time ago.
