There is no difference between Facebook and Vkontakte. Difference between WhatsApp and Telegram is only crapped encryption. Pavёl is a thief.

And my suggestion about using GPG in IM is good but look what members say about it

You're painting the picture of that service like he's literally siphoning traffic from Facebook, which would actually be stealing.

Btw, how to compile telegram for n9? I found these libs for arm, but on this forum i red that there is no gcc for PR1.3, is that true?

for N9 it's better to look at some Qt telegram backend, Sigram for example.

@coderus thanx, i didn't see this before! but it's written on qt5 whereas AFAIK there is only qt4.7 for n9. My prog skill sucks for 'downshifting' Sigram, damn ( maybe one day… :DD

im testing TelegramGui

when starting it gives a lot of bad_msg_notification error = 17

but then it connects and it works pretty well for normal messages

but if you want a secure chat, you have to give the command (from terminal running the cli in the background) create_secret_chat <user>

doing so, it crashes.

Is the first CLI working? I have both and the first version released by NerdKnight no longer works for me. Testing TelegramGui, it works ok for standard messages, I've not tried secure chat. Going to contacts menu crashes Telegram.

Bug: Doesn't work with contacts with spanish accents or eñe. For example I cannot talk to my friend "Iván" or a group called "Peña".
