I can translate it to German.
Are you using Transifex? Transifex mobile is very convenient on the N900 ;)

Re: Pybattery - battery statusbar applet with candies

Without reading all 400 posts...before I install...

1) this will replace the green bar in the upper left correct?

2) it will have a more accurate reading of the battery life (the default seems kind of clueless). I do have battery graph installed, will it pull its info from that source?

3) is there any way for it to display the percent as well as the candle in the upper left? or will I have to click on the icon to see that...

thanks.

as to point 2 I did install the app and it seems in sync with the battery graph readings. so it seems to me the default nokia candle was pretty out of touch and both battery graph and this app are much better. my question is, is it ok for me to remove battery graph and use this app alone instead? or will removing battery graph make pybattery give unrelyable readings?

It's ok and removing won't change anything for AP.

if nothing changed, still only moders can do that.

forgot to mention: you don't need to replace the english strings, just fill in the gaps :)
and if desired add your credits.

163:00?

Danish translation..

I'm not quite sure this is UTF-8... Actually I'm quite sure it's ISO-8859-1..

163:00?

There should be 4:00...
First value is time left active, second - time left idle. Perhaps, I should change "/" to "," to avoid confusion.

The first post could have screenshots what it looks like having APM.

I installed (advanced-power-monitor) to N900, rebooted, but cannot see any difference. BatteryGraph is working normally and I have kernel-power.
(I've read only the first post and couple of the last pages.)

Install advanced-power. There are screenshots some pages before...

Unfortunatelly, I can't get some symbols ((( Please try to edit it in utf-8.

Spanish locale is to move to autobuilder.

The confusion is mine, not that meant was 163:00.

I think it's better "/" to "."

Thank you all for enhancing the experience with the N900

Re: Pybattery - battery statusbar applet with candies

I would prefer an individual adjustment possibility. For example, I would be interested only display a percentage next to the graphical battery indicator. So I would like to display the time left for active and idle time left off.

I also think it would be even if the display has the background like the normal display. (As well as the volume indicator)

Is it possible to create?

I installed APM a couple of days ago on my N900, so far there have not been any ill-effects.

hi 412b,

how about adding the temperture of the batterie after the percent?

like this f.e. Akku: 26.9% (31°C)

Unfortunatelly, there is no info about battery temperature available or I missed it.

Bringing functionality from OS2008 to Maemo5 version is next step, the main thing to consider is representation of info, getting it is already done.

Re: Pybattery - battery statusbar applet with candies

This may have been asked before, but not going to read 56 pages.

Is it possible to get pybattery to show voltage instead of capacity?

With Mugen 2400 mAh battery, the charge-levels are always wrong, but the voltage meter works (for example with BatteryGraph).
It would be usefull, if pybattery would show 100% and "4.2V", and linearly 0% at "3.6V".

So the pybattery optionally would show Battery chargelevel as:
(VOLTAGE - 3.6V) / (4.2V - 3.6V) * 100%
[Maybe min level 3.6 could be configurable.]

Please, make it available and if you need tester feel free to ask.

Thanks.

Re: Pybattery - battery statusbar applet with candies

Is there any way to remove the bg from the status menu item?

Currently it looks like a button but pressing it does nothing but exit the status menu (gracefully).

It would be great if it could have the same bg (ie no bg) same as the standard one (especially seeing as it's next to the volume control which doesn't have this button appearance).

Cheers
