Hi, I'm not sure if I am posting this in the right place but there seems to be a slight problem with Live Wallpaper. If I have the city scene on the screen and then go to Catorise an elongated halo like region appears that connects the three central icons (horizontally).. I noticed this after I upgraded Live Wallpaper last night. This Halo goes away if I
return to the original "watersplash" screen and then go to Catorise. Is this a bug or do I need to change a setting somewhere?
Thanks for the nice work!

I couldn't reproduce this problem. Please describe it step by step for reproducing.

Vlad.

Loaded Catorise to organize apps. Drag screen so that the live
wallpaper of the city (doen't matter if it is day or night scene) appears. Wait a few seconds. Now tap on upper lefthand corner of
screen to go to the Catorise screen. A horizontal narrow hazy region is seen between the middle three directory icons. If I now go back to the original screen (that has the splashing water) and tap to get to the Catorise screen it appears normal with no hazy region.

I uninstalled Live wallpaper and reinstalled it today and it still happens. Hope this helps sort it out.

Re: Live Wallpaper discussion thread

Last night I took a closer look at the screen as the transition from
Live Wallpaper to the Catorise took place. At the beginning
of the transition some words appear in the middle of the screen.
They are hard to read because they appear quickly and then are
smeared out in the transition. It looks like "Loading Livewallpaper scene"
can't tell for sure. I would think it would say "unloading" not Loading ant this point.
Anyways, the hazy or smeared out region is a remnant of text that appears
during the transition from Live Wallpaper to Catorise.
Is this an artifact of a new smoothing algorithm?

It happens with the default application launcher as well: below the app grid you can see that blurred text. It's not that annoying though.

Hi, Well, it appears to be harmless but would be nicer if fixed.

About mute sound,
No. I don't know how it to do.
Version 1.0 will be available in October. ( I hope). Tanya is very busy yet. I'm busy too.
Next minor version (0.9.2) will be available September, 25.

hello Vlad and Tanya. i have been following your progress and i must say, very nice stuff! i have but a single feature request, that being: the ability to display a slide show of pictures on your phone. i really have no need of animated wallpapers (as neat as they are) sucking my battery dry, but i do get tired of looking at the same picture all the time (and changing it regularly is annoying). perhaps it can work something like this: the user can make a folder where they put the photos they would like to be part of the slide show in, then via Live Wallpaper select the folder containing said pictures and perhaps an adjustment for how long each picture is to be displayed (the ability to fade/transition between slides would be nice too, but now i think i am asking too much). thank you for your consideration and all of the time you guys have spent already and great work that you have produced.

Hi Tokag. Thank for your opinion. Slide show is a good idea and we will implement it in the next version of LiveWallpaper.

Hey vlad and tanya,
first off; many thanks for the great application and the hard work on improving and expanding it!
You two really improved this application so fast and nice, just fantasic!

I would like to ask if it is possible to add "andwobble" (where you can use the accelometer to much parts of pictures) from android, or a simmalair app/option to the program.

Would be awsome!

keep up the great work.

It's an interesting idea. What themes do you want to see with andwobble? Please offer themes and design for andwobble.

Re: Live Wallpaper discussion thread

great work you two. impressive stuff as usual, you don't disappoint. i love the new slide show feature and it seems to be working great on my device. my only critique would be to eliminate the "loading Livewallpaper scene" banner from being displayed while transitioning after the initial load. to clarify, text is displayed on the screen when you first active Live Wallpaper, which is good. however the same text is also displayed every time the wallpaper transitions, which is unnecessary. other than that i haven't yet explored much more of this versions other features so i'm going to do that now. again, good work guys. i thank you.

EDIT:

actually i noticed that is isn't re-displaying the text "Loading Live Wallpaper Scene ...", it is part of the black background, as the text is also visible in the dashboard and the programs menu. it appears to re-materialize itself during slide traditions due to the fade/translucency effect allowing it "show through".

Re: Live Wallpaper discussion thread

Awesome update!

However, when I try to create a flash background, thats the n900 screen resolution (800x480), it does not fill the screen.

Any way to make it full screen?

Looks like I can only get 640 x 480 resolution Missing 80 pix to either side.

Thanks!
