Maybe they will cause one of them is not Meego compliant. And Nokia has stated they will release one Meego phone.

Soo maybe they meant one Meego "compatible" and one fully compliant :-D

looks nothing like symbian, if your referring to icons by that thinking it means n900 looks like symbian too as it had the same icons as symbian and ovi portal site too

What i'm most pleased about is that it has a HW keyboard and is slim. Like a more portable friendly N900.
I just hope that QBW will be compiled to work on it

Well, I guess it's official then. It is coming! "Our Next Sense" - does this mean, our next OS, after Symbian? Probably not. I thought their "next sense" back in February was Windows Phone.

Maybe this "sense" is the next one, before WP. I am pretty excited by this teaser. I'm officially teased!! :D

I think icons are part of the Nokia brand...

And even if that weren't the case it makes sense to reuse work already done.

Even on Maemo 5 the icons resemble Symbian^3 icons (or the other way around).

I guess they will be cheaply made and rubbish hardware!

But I do hope I'm wrong and Nokia realise the potential of Meego as do the other manufacturers.Getting samsung on the Meego would be a killer move.

It's Harmattan with the new Nokia icons of course, which are also used in Symbian Anna
maemo 5 does have also the same icons as Symbian^3.

Brilliant! Finally some kind of proof from Nokia itself that the N9 is alive and is coming. Even if it has a different name on release, I like what I see! :)

Well I have the symbian_anna icons pack, so it doesn't bother me at all. I like it a lot.

I don't think one needs a separate phone to make it compliant. It's the OS issue, not the hardware.

Didn't a recent post copied here say an advertising company annouced they were shooting an advert for new Nokia device only a few days ago, is this the advert they were shooting?

I think you are right, I think this is old, as in from summer of last year when the Meego N9 was still to be the next top dog.

In the video you see him scrolling through updates (between secs 21 and 22) where one news item reads:
New York Times - NYC Area Lands 2014 Superbowl, that news item was published May 25 2010

I´ve tried to verify by finding the status updates on the screen at secs 24-25, "Sarah Orlanci" and Jennifer Joan/Jean Nelson (to see if they existed) but I´ve not found anything yet.

Strange, the E7 has four rows. Maybe they do not want to rewrite the keyboard driver form the N900?

The device looks as big as the E7 too, so it is strange it is not sharing the same keyboard.

By the way, the E7 keyboard is an improvement on the N900... much easier to type. It is almost a pity there is no xterm in Symbian. :)

The screen looks more like the N900 than the E7. I hope I am wrong, since the E7 screen is much nicer in daylight (and apparently draws less current).

All in all, nice device, anyway.

Yep seems a little fishy now agreed. This looks like an old advert thats been dug up by someone but it does have that 12mp camera which is very recent and the E7 is 8mp? Mmmm calling Sherlock Holmes old boy.

def has the E7 feel to it! but im just excited there's more proof of it coming :)

id be curious to know actual dimensions. i rather like the height and width of the n900, the thickness was the only complaint i had. the n9 def looks slimmer for sure.

Look at the comments and you might just realise something is wrong here, Nokia is no way going to release a MeeGo device soon, they cannot even get Maemo right let alone establish MeeGo.
