What command have you used? But, taking the symptom of unexpected shutdown into account, it may ne also a broken MMC chip. Hopefully not, so possibly only a broken download of image file. Did you compare the MD5sum? |

Code:
sudo flasher -f -F main.bin --flash-only=cmt |
Re: [HOWTO] Comprehensive Firmware Flashing Guide for N9
Ah okay. Your device starts?
I assumed it does not. But looking at your command you really only want to flash cmt. Okay, so when the device starts: what is so difficult to disable devicelock under Settings-Security-Devicelock? But it might be HW failure of modem, too. :( |

and why disable device lock so difficult? first off all i doesn't even know it was on. the other problem is that till i tried to flash cmt the phone cannot start in normal mode. after power on it warns me to "install a verified operating system" or something like that...that's why i can't go on and switch off the lock, can't backup, etc... oh and yes. i have a bad feeling about this too  |
Re: [HOWTO] Comprehensive Firmware Flashing Guide for N9
Only chance to verify:
full reflash (eMMMc and firmware). As your device starts a backup is easy ... |
