Please note that anyone else who cannot follow the idea that the new firmware will be released when it works properly will be considered "special needs", and afforded the same consideration as other challanged individuals.

I agree with you on principle, people should stop posting thread after thread about this as anyone with half a brain cell should realise that if we knew anything, it would be posted already.

However I disagree with your wording and also, please do not claim a thread is closed when you have no right to do so. Either a moderator will close the thread or they won't, its not your place to say if it is closed or not. Sure recommending a thread be closed is fine, outright claiming it IS closed, not so much. Its closed when its closed and PR1.2 is done when its done!

must admit I have been using Nokia for 15 years ... now i am looking elsewhere. almost feel unfaithful, but there are two sides to every relationship. sometimes you feel the other party isn't as committed

Even I'm starting to go mad, I want my media player to work properly, even shuffle is broken. Tracks sometimes stop in the middle of the song and skip to next (has been reported though)

Screen doesn't always lock, need to click link multiple times to get it to register, desktop turns unresponsive, media player widget play button works sometimes and sometimes not, device updates tracks slowly and randomly, general unresponsiveness... need to go on?

(reflashed many times / no extras-dev / testing enabled)

Fix your phone... Nokia and dont dare to drop support any time soon.

Other than that I'm quite pleased, need to dev more after update gets released.

I too am waiting for the FW, but I am getting less and less patient by the day. I am about to reflash my device for what seems like the 10th time because it keeps giving me serious problems. Now the phone isn't even working.
