There is no room on a forum, or heck in life, for hateful comments because you don't think a gadget is useful and I do.

I didn't read the whole thread (first 2 pages and last 4), but I thought some of the comments were a bit out-of-line. If you are offended by a overly hateful comment, feel free to report it.

That goes for everyone.

i was especially offended by omega's 'circle-jerk' comment in his last post.

i have a cousin who died in a circle-jerking accident in 2004.

it's no laughing matter...words hurt.

Well, it works for me. I find new and useful things to do with the tablet every day (okay, that's hyperbole, but let's just say "with regularity"). For example, just this weekend I installed qole's easy-debian (which was painless for even a linux noob such as myself), and I now have open office that fits in my pocket.

Sure, "jack of all trades and master of none" is a fair description of the N800/N810. It's also quite a bit slower than a full-fledged home computer/office workstation. So, the device is not for everyone, but there are a lot of people (like myself) who are willing to accept a tradeoff in performance for pocketability.

Each of us could sing & record it and pass the file around for the others to join in... wouldn't that be so wonderully 1970s? (or maybe the council members could do an ABBA-parody in Amsterdam.... I'd love to see the costumes. ;) and i wonder who would be agnetha and frida...)

Yeah, way to take responsibility for your actions. You start a thread with the title "N810 is totally useless" and throw around phrases like "who can be the biggest dick" and "circle-jerking." And then when you don't get the response you were hoping for, you pull the ripcord and suggest that people should be censored? I'm not really sure things should work that way.
