Languages: C++ (Qt), PyQT, Python, QML, Bash ( Want C# :P )
IDE: QtCreator, Bash
Project: SUN Resident Checker, NETKey, SimLock, AppLock
Progress: 95-100%
License: GNU GPLv3
Distribution: Private Website (sierrasoftworks.com), Gitorious, Extras-Devel

Purpose/goal of project [SUN Resident Checker]: An application for security personnel at the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa; to allow them to quickly and easily check whether a student is a resident at a specific residence. (In many residences there is an issue of random people entering and exiting at will, would make it easier for people living in the residence to check whether those people should be there or not). Looking into writing up similar versions in Java for Android, Blackberry etc. but for the time being it is written in Qt.

Purpose/goal of project [NETKey]:An application to allow people on the Stellenbosch campus to access their student internet accounts using their phones. The campus provides an open WiFi network which requires you to run a "Key" application to access the internet.

Purpose/goal of project [SimLock]:Lock a phone when the SIM card is changed to make if difficult for a thief to use the person's phone.

Purpose/goal of project [AppLock]:Lock the phone when an application on a blacklist is launched, similar to locks implemented on other platforms for messages/other phone functions. Also useful for restricting access to certain features of the device, like Settings and XTerm.

Language/s: c++ / Qt
IDE: Qt creator
Project: Siligolem
Progress: slow ;) (no working version yet)
License: free
Distribution: private (no working version yet)
Purpose/goal of project: Provide a time/event/state based automatic and customisable task launcher/manager. Use case: run rsync/syncevolution when I am not using the phone, am at home, and device is plugged on main. Disable lock code when I am near some given wifi networks. Apt-get update when I don't use the device. Mostly automatic, smart maintenance, by listening dbus and files to launch dbus and scripts.

Edit: and a config gui, after that.

Qt Creator is cross platform. But you can also use any supported language IDE (C++ and python, mainly), that are widely availlable for windows too.
