hi

after i flashed my n900 it is not saving the history of all my calls, sms & im.

what can i do the fix this?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but what exactly is stopping you from flashing everything except the radio update?

It's not like the radio update would change something so radically (new AT command set, etc, etc) that things would stop working...

It's all part of the same package, I think. You don't really have a choice what to flash and what not.

It is a bit strange to me that flashing 1.2 changes it to one version, but 1.1.1 doesn't change it back.. but it has been reported in several threads that your cellular data/phone will not work after flashing back to 1.1.1.

You're screwed. This isn't the "stable" Hong Kong version. It's an old beta version of PR1.2 that got leaked somehow and now a bunch of fools and impatient folks have it running on their N900's.

As has already been stated, you're going to have to live with it until the normal version is released unless you don't care about your cellphone. Going back to 1.1.1 will disable your cellphone. So you're pretty much stuck with a crappy unstable version of PR1.2.

Hope it was worth it.



lol really really wasnt worth it. my iphone user friend was playing on the web with my n900 and now thinks its a crap device lol. no1 is touching my phone till the offical PR1.2
