Does not work, the problem as described above.

Anyway, if there is anyone with this game, does it allow selection of multiple units at once?

Works great on my N900.

I tried installing it a couple days ago, but it didn't work. Tried to load for like 5 seconds then just quit. I uninstalled my power-kernel app and with everything reverted back to the stock kernel it seems to have installed properly this time. I don't know if the overclockable kernel was the culprit, thought it may be.

I used to LOVE this game! Thanks for the port smoku!!!!

Now, I forget, did this game ever have multi-player functionality?

Hi,
so thanks to DRMAEMO (which pointed http://duneii.com/units/) i know the answers to the questions asked after first mission, problem is I don't know how to type numbers or capitals... and it seems to matter, becouse guy say: WRONG !

Any ideas?

EDIT:
Played on PC, finished first mission, wrote the answer for the 1st Qestion-succes!, started 2nd mission, saved, copied "save files" to n900... and Succes no.2 !

Note. even on 800 on CPU it catches lags.. but game is great !!!!

HAVE FUN !!!

You are probably trying to untar to Mydocs which is a FAT partition and doesnt recognise UNIX perms.

Shouldn't be a problem.

The thing is, the game auto-executes a program that downloads and untars whatever packages report the message I mentioned; I'm not evev sure where those packages are coming from.

OpenDUNE has made to version 0.7 and it seems to run smoothly and no more crashes (yet). Also takes less cpu and memory.
Applied Smoku's patches to svn snapshot and it compiles well.

Attached Smoku's patches and binary for arm. Must be placed to /opt/maemo/usr/games, overwriting old binary.

Now things get interesting.
Tried version i attached here before and it's lagging. wtf?
After hour i remembered, that first time I forgot to enter into scratchbox shell and tried to compile it on x64. It failed with error 'undefined reference to `__builtin_bswap32'' (this was predicted).
Now I enter into scratchbox shell and 'make' again. Binary is 408k vs 415K and it runs smoothly!
Btw level completion doesn't work at moment. GUI crashes but opendune keeps running and eats CPU until you enter 'killall opendune' in console.

This time I attached binary which not lagging.

When I have more time I investigate it further, why it does so and how to fix this.

Will be great if you package it and push it to Extras-devel

Re: OpenDUNE - Dune II remake

Everything works smooth now, no glitches encountered yet.
Advanced 4 levels yesterday, before fell asleep.
Lagging is gone when configured with --with-asound=0 option.

ivgalvez: now its ready for extras repository.

Edit: files removed. Updated package is now in repository.
