Yeah, but there's nothing wrong with being a little excited about tyhe first releases of his incredible gba emulator.

On a side note, I installed it and dropped my bios in.

When I cd to the folder, I've tried "./gp" and "sh gp". The first gives me permission denied even though I'm on root and tried chmod as well. The second gives me " line 1: syntax error: word unexpected (expecting")") ", can't seem to figure that out. Tried the same with the basic file.

You should include COPYING file in the release.
You should accompany the binaries with the source.

What you did now is a violation of GPL.

I had a little problems with this version and I had gave up... I'll w8 for the "noob" release :D

chmod doesnt work if your are in the MyDocs folder (or inside of a folder inside of MyDocs) because its fat32. Move the gba folder to /home/user and it'll chmod just fine.

I did get the program to run. It displays a simple blue selection screen. I navigated to my roms folder and tried several different gba roms but they all crashed the emulator. Not quite yet ready for prime time but I look forward to future releases.

hmm. didnt know MyDocs was fat32, figured ext3 or 4.have to try it.

For these case there needs to be a license and written offer for sources included.
