You can't.. hehehe... That's something I didn't realize since all my sounds are extremely short.

It'll be fixed in the next release. In the meantime you can select a short sound clip as your IM ringtone.

NO!!!!!!! And you NEVER needed it. The only thing you needed was to install the Java port, register to Whatsapp using it, and then discard it (you can uninstall it and never use it again).

Since version 0.0.9 you don't need the Java port or any other Whatsapp port/client for anything. Yappari is all that you need.

If it never reaches Disconnected state then it's a bug in the socket timeout, but anyway that doesn't solve your problem. Maybe where you are they blocked Whatsapp servers or something, who knows.
It stays in Connecting state for all the time.

Maybe a can find another wireless network somewhere else here (probably a cafe or so) and try again there. If not i have to wait until i'm back home.

Is it just me or is version 0.0.9 not persistent anymore? It's not showing up in the status menu after the update.

Yes, it is in the ToDo list. Maybe in a couple of releases. The next one will be only bug fixing and no new features added (except simple things). After that one chat history should be implemented.

First of all.
Thank you so much for this!
Since the wazapp got out for N9 i've been cheking this forum waiting for an N900 version.

Being said that, i downloaded the dev and install it in my device... when i go to the app it says
conecting
conected
protocol error
I/O error
in that order.

I'm REALLY a noob! so please be gentle with me :)

i think i don't need to mention that I've not been able to successfully connect.
