ahh a few tries and slowly walking through everything
Just paid. now waiting for the download email..

If somebody has downloaded it, can that one make it a torrent :)
So then it downloads faster for the rest. You need an activation code anyway right?
So its not that you can do something without it?

Why not do that before?????

Hummm.... releasing a product without the infrastructure ready.... I think I heard a similar history before.... like launching a mobile device with its own application store website shortcut right on the desktop while the website wasn't even ready, and 5 months after it is still in BETA stage without supporting paid content.

Yes, but it segfaults at startup:

/opt/sygic/Drive/Maemo/drive
Init: Starting Up...
title: Sygic DRIVE
> set_stream 'ALSA Playback'
Segmentation fault

I don't understand why a company wouldn't use torrent to deliver something like this. They would barely need to have anything more than the ONE server to host the seeding server since, if hardly anyone is downloading--you only NEED the one server, if a LOT of people are downloading--EVERYONE is sharing it up. PLUS you get the benefit of hash checking. It works for Blizzard, why do some think HTTP is somehow better?

Anyone at Sygic interested in considering this?

Re: Sygic announces world-wide turn-by-turn navigation for Maemo

How to download Sygic in one piece ;) (only for windows users, linux users use the method posted by spag)
1. Download and install FlashGet
2. Open the mail from Sygic, containing your downloadlinks
3. right-click on the download-links, copy link address
4. Open Flashget and paste the link-address
