I think that I will wait for the official release, updated opengl es games (can anyone confirm what games works and don't works ?) and updated titan kernel :)

when i tried installing brain party it cancelled because i didn't had opengl es installed. can i find this in app manager?

You will lose nothing by flashing even when the OTA update comes out as you can do that one too.
Please read the thread and everyone who has updated is more than happy .
It has only been out for a couple of hours so claims of sustained stability hold no candle. FYI, I'm an engineer too...okay I haven't graduated yet but I'm not some bum either.

There's a reason why this isn't an official release. For that reason, I will hold out for a while.

Let's see what happens after a couple of days...isn't that what you "testers" are for?

How CAN you assure anyone of that, it's unfinished code, it may work perfectly for you or have minor issues but that does not guarantee that anyone else with thier own telecoms provider/apps use modes will be similarly happy.

If Nokia had established that it was finished and worked perfectly they would have released it.

I'm not telling people not to install but as has been said don't get annoyed if you have problems

if its been leaked.. then its probably going to be released in the next few days.. no?

those extra few days will also give the guinea pigs some time to fiddle and report back about issues, about new tricks and additions.. ie: what works and what doesn't.

anything changed for ovi maps any one?
is there an easily configurable white/black list style firewall now?
does skype have video calls now?
can you change the size of fonts in settings?
will we be able to install open office now?
etc..

I believe that someone from nokia (can't remember who) posted on twitter that PR1.2 is Finished & Frozen they are just doing some more tests on it.

Flashed and OC'ed too With your Kernel. Looks fine. Just cant get that lv,ulv,ideal,.... (Folder is gone ??? )
But my Queenb. OC Tools run well as b4 ;)

3 out of your 5 are yes yes and yes for your information and the only reason i dont know the others is i aint tried yet but having said that why dont ALL of you doubters go back to the BEGGINING of this thread and read from start to here and THEN you will all have a much much better understanding of what works and what dont and how to do this and that and what is good and what is bad instead of just coming in and asking questions that have been answered WAY WAY back on this very thread.

big noob question... how do i install the fw through pc? nokia software updater only allows me to do with ones it downloads online

Same here Titan, installed and working like charm 1Ghz (until something terrible happens and my n900 explodes, of course)

After installing this fw the conversations app no longer works. I can send and receive SMS, but they aren't logged. No option for communication history for a contact either.

Anyone else have this problem?

actually the bin file size is 178 MB (187,130,013 bytes) (after you decompress it from the rar archive). I installed it and i found some bugs :)) like when you install an app using the app manager and you want to go to menu the install bar remains on the screen and you can browse the menu in the same time:))). I suppose that this is a pre release of PR 1.2, not the final one.....
