guys, in asphalt 5 all the races are normal but i guess after playing cop chase at the second arena i did something wrong (like exiting the game while saving...or something like that) so every race is normal except the cop chase always crash ! is there any file i can modify to fix that ?

Poker doesn't work. Some other games I reported here:

To start a game, just run "preenv" then run the executable file directly (after appropriate permission has been set).

how did you get the gamesave working?

Every time i make some progress in the game and exit it. The game save data is lost..

I tried these commands as well, these would get me working savegame..

In the xterm as a normal user, navigate to the directory that contains your game binary.
Example for NFS:U is /home/user/applicaitons/com.ea.xxx/

Example for N.O.V.A is /home/user/applications/com.gameloft.xxx./nova/

Now type: preenv

Then type ./ followed by the binary for your game.
Example for NFS:U is ./nfsuc

Example for N.O.V.A. is ./nova

Yes i have but it has slightly changed it, now say's apt-get install libgles1 and now libgles2.

So i tried that and it say's i already have the latest versions of both.

Any ideas?

Preenv / Palm Games conflict with ULV profile?
 
Dear Maemo Community,

I use since a few days Preenv and tested already several games which are running stable and smooth.

Though I noticed an issue with some games when you are using the "ULV" profile (N900 overclocked @ 900MHz).

For example Asphalt5 and N.O.V.A are beginning to lag a lot or may even crash after a few seconds if I use the ULV profile @ 900MHz. When I use the stock profile / speed its working just fine.

Any idea what could cause that and why it affects only specific games?

maybe it is because you are forcing the hardware too much...the games use a lot of resources to run...I am using the ideal profile overclocked to 900 mhz and everything works just fine.

Well the ULV profile works even after hours of PSX4ALL still fine, also other applications which use the full CPU power don't crash. Though Palm Pre games work only with the LV profile without issues, once I switch to ULV problems appear.

Just wanted to report that, its not really an issue for me.

The games do use a lot of power hence why my battery becomes warm even in the AC after about 10mins of running one game. I don't mind though, well not much.

I use deb package . that will install to home/opt/preenv/usr/palm/applications.
when I wrote this command that my asphalt 5 still cant save the game even I symlink. is that any problem where I put command.

u will need to chown -R user:users the entire /usr folder
let me know if it works because Ive done it n it works

this aint working for me after flashing fw1.3 on to phone, getting the same errors with nova too:
