All i said was it looks like a hoax, the rest are pulling it to bits and rightly so.

Hmm, take a look at the picture with the Calendar. Should we take this like the plan was to release it already 2010 but "some person" (I dont wanna spell that Idiots name) decided to "wait"?

I guess then, the clip is just combined from parts made some time ago, and some recent stuff, to save time with production. Clips designers also want to finish earlier :D

I can not believe the skeptics here. Nokia pay for a production company to go to work on a teaser ad for the N9, they come up with the goods, albeit with some shortcuts in production, and just listen to everyone?! I can't believe it sometimes, you wait and wait for the N9, the thing springs up on the FCC, people get excited, a flippin VIDEO gets leaked, and still people aren't sure if it's real or not. Call me naive you like, but I've watched that video 10 times now, and I am convinced it is coming - and I'll buy one. Who cares if some of the shots were taken in 2010? They're not really expecting people to get the magnifying glass out and call "fake!!" are they? They just want to tease us with a quick, fun ad that shows off the device's sexy form. Enjoy it!

Nokia will shoot rather more than 1 advert! Obviously they cant have shot and edited the ad within a few days.

12MP on a "handsetcamera" is just pointless unless the CCD is not big like a DSLR. It would be more intresting if they will optimize ISO so pictures dont get that damn corny when taking pictures (Especially inside)

Well, could you imagine the bleating on tmo if that thing showed "3.2mp"?! All I'm saying, I'm glad they've made the effort not to just stick with 5 or 8mp. You're technical points are valid, I'm just glad they're not cutting corners.

Well apparently the OS was slow and buggy - too much so to release. Hopefully they have learnt their lessons - eg not another N900 debacle.

The icons are Anna like, meaning that either Symbians icons came from a set originally planned for Meego or this is legit.

While I agree with the point that the sensor is much more important than the MP count, it is certainly not pointless to have such a high quality camera on a phone. Do a search for pictures taken by the n8 - some of them are amazing.

I did'nt say its a fake cause of 2010 but we all know it has been rumopred for long time so imho it looks like it was planned already maybe the end of 2010 who knows.

But yes I am sure it will soon be announced :-D

Or I mean IT MUST else I am going NUTS ;)

well the date on calendar actually says January 2010 i just think it was brand new device for commercial and so they jusr pressed save and used default date setting instead of going through setup

Good question! Price is based on what people are crazy enough to pay. Currently on amazon.com a new N900 is about $500, The E7 is about $540. The list prices on both are over $100 more. I doubt if there will be much of a discount initally so if I had to hazard a guess... at minimun $650 and I would not be surprised if it is around $700.

So my question would be: How much are people crazy enough to pay?

Back when Amazon had it in stock it was $350. That sucks it's $500 again.

Anyway, I bet it comes in around 7-800 US dollars.

Well, I for one will not be an early adopter. I do love its looks, and what it promises, but I'll wait for the first user reviews, the first firmware-update, and till its price drops a bit (probably when the wp7 series will come out). I want to know what the hardware is capable of, how hackable the OS is, wait till a bunch of developers start to make use of the new stuff and let the platform mature a bit. This time around I want no breaking USB ports, no white spots on the TFT, no surprises.

That does look the bees knees but there is just 1 little thing that I really wished they had kept with the new industrial design... The Boom-bastic dual speakers that I have enjoyed from the N95 and N900

Lets hope they have found a way to package some nice stereo hardware in to it.
