It really is time go next step in my solary project and charge my damn laptop using solar.Right now my solar cells creates more power than I take from my current 12 leadbattery who is full all the time but to small charge laptop. so I need a bigger one :P

Exellent choice. Best use of refund I have seen so far. Can't wait to hear what you will buy for your second refund.

I will soon upgrade my mini sun plant at my summer house. Hope more people are instressted in solar so maybe we can create a specific thread and discuss the topic.

Maybe even donate the second part to best setup :D Maybe Jolla could crowedfunding an external solar charger.

Re: The Future of Jolla's Tablet

Given the upcoming community program Jolla got some income, 169000 EURO. Hope that money will be used to do a second refund for the one that choose to.

Still wonder how many that actually did donated to jolla? 10% maybe but I think the donation rate will be slightly higher for the second part.

So it is sweet that Jolla finally got some cash flow...more is needed though.

BTW many of the failed transaction folks got refund during the night...hope that goes for the missing TMOers as well. Please check.

This 169k€ includes taxes which goes to governments. The rest goes to postages and Intex as Jolla C is Aqua Fish.

Excellent! Good things will come to those who wait. I hope you will be among the first to get the second part since you was the last one today.

Future looks brilliant...have a nice day!

What will you buy for the refund?

Well, I got $149 back. Since I paid exactly $200 for the taobao tablet I would say the money was basically used towards that. If I get the remaining $149, $51 would go to the taobao tablet and the rest towards a Note 7 that is coming out in August. That is, of course, unless Jolla makes an offer I can't refuse!

Well, you cant use these money to something you bought months ago. So then we can conclude you will save and/or use it for note7.

Note is a great bet.(as in good choice)

Thread has run its course, moved to off-topic for Dave/Similar to continue to ramble in.

Really all there is to talk about now, is refunds...
And we have at least 2 threads, which endeavour to focus on that in the JT sub-forum:

http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=96772
http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=96803
http://talk.maemo.org/forumdisplay.php?f=60

As always, any questions or disputes PM me...
Or use Post Report to explain why a thread's no longer any good, or someone's pushing the rules.

Re: The Future of Jolla's Tablet

Yeah, tablet has no future and the other threads you linked to are absolute since first part of refund is complete. Time to move on guys. Raise your flags! Time to sail towards the second part of the refund!

I hadn't finished yet, I had planned to start the 2nd round thread, I've deleted yours.

So you finally manged to derail your own thread again and now whinig about it being moved to off-topic? - Hilarious.

Engaging others to derail the next thread? - You must be begging for a ban, aren't you? - I''m actually surprised you still haven't faced that for quite a while. I really hope all ours mods will never let this happen again and act in time if it ever occurs again.

And since I consider you a pro troll, I can warmly recommend to read our forum rules and Code of Conduct. Your posts show

And you are neither

.Easy as that.

Now that the thanks-button is gone - THANKS Jalyst!

And now that we are in off-topic, you suddenly lost interest Dave?
Ok, I'll take over then.

The real question is:
Will Dave get over it?
Who will start an appropriate countdown?
What's his future?
What can we do?
Will his management allow it?

So much to discuss really...

That was one mature post :D

If that is your attitude you will soon dance alone here at TMO.

But since I'm here now I will dance with you.

Yep. It was derailed long ago, by me and others. Everything comes to an end when the time is right, and now was the time.

Jalyst did great even if we of course dident had the same view. He did what some of you asked him to do I guess. I will not post once a day the new thread. If that is what you are asking.

If TMO will be a better place without a thread. Let's hope so :D Some say maybe some say yes, other say no. Me personally think its rediculas and that people not intressted in a thread can't ignore it. Sure it was overdue and a new thread is more relevant(could have changed name of the thread) given Jolla actually planning a second refund...so its a bit like you go: hey, those guys having fun over there, let's trash their party :D

Or a one or two party state...its not really democracy ;)

I will never get over it ;) I guess I will be sleepless.

bla bla what? "their party"? What you consider a party is [read my above post]. And yes, I believe that was overdue too.

You have two big opportunities to fill your democracy-lack: become Councilor or MC e.V. member.
Besides that, what's wrong with our forum rules and Code of Conduct?

Are you serious?

Anyway. A bigger issue is...was this the last thing we heard about the Jolla tablet? Or does it still have a future...

Ahha, And here I thought with great powers comes big responsibility.

Cool, See you tommorow then. Pitch up some great subjects...what's your opinion regarding Jollas refund? How do we keep the Jolla tablet intresting and relevant?

Or you want to stay off topic...let me know when you have decided.

Just got my tablet money on my bank account.

bought 96 packets Royal Canin Urinary S/O Chicken - Veterinary Diet for the money.

Yes, My cat food costs alot since its diet food. She eats 2 packets/day. The shitty food at normal stores gives her troubles.

Everyone should be careful what you give your pets :/

Yeah, don't give them anything they can't handle, like money.

Happy to hear that you got your money. Let's hope you will get another 96 packs with tuna via the second part soon. Should appear info any day now...

Sounds like a good investments. Just imagine if $2,571,262 USD total funds raised was used for cat food instead. Jolla could have bought a lion. Then we would have a lion now atleast :D

Remember he had that whole complicated issue with his bank, lack of trust in PayPal, wanted BitCoin instead of money and all kinds of other steps? That invariably created his delay in his first refund.

Yep. Totally assuming, totally paraphrased his situation, but if it were a hand grenade, I'd be just as effective...

I remember the times when people got cats to keep mice and rats under control. A cat that could not feed itself was useless. Now people spend money to buy them "special diet" food. Times they are a-changing. Not always for the better.

I still think it's better with cat food than jolla keeping the money as hostage.
Many cats have forgotten how to hunt. Even lions. The can only hunt the toys humans bought for them.
