i understand that skype will only be allowed via wifi, and not through 3g, so is there a way or an app that will trick the n900 into thinking the 3g is wifi

i know with my iphone 3gs after jailbreaking it, there was an app to do this, and bypass the wifi restriction for some apps

any idea anyone ?

skype works very fine over 3g - ask your carrier to unblock skype trafic !
